Junior Product Specialist & Sales

Our client is seeking a Junior Product Specialist with a flair for sales, entrepreneurial mindset, attention to detail, and demonstrable interest in private equity energy infrastructure. As a member of the Client Solutions team, you will work at the interface to our client’s investors. More broadly, you will support the team in its main functions: sales, fundraising & product development, investor reporting & marketing, and client services, all of which support our client’s mission to grow assets under management and expand globally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and optimizing new and/or investor-specific sales collaterals; maintaining and updating existing product pitch presentations
  • Strategizing on and completing requests for information/proposals, due diligence questionnaires, and other due diligence materials for potential investors/consultants in an investor-oriented, timely, high-quality, and accurate fashion
  • Supporting institutional client relationship managers & sales in acquiring, maintaining, and further developing client relationships, particularly for DACH region investors, particularly through sales collaterals and research
  • Supporting selected B2B distribution partners and delivering timely and accurate information packages
  • Independently leading, managing, and performing input & content for selected projects assigned by senior management, such as distribution strategy framework, reporting framework, product launch performance attribution analysis, competitor and investor analysis, as well as various ongoing other projects
  • Acting as interface between different functions and teams within our client and third parties

Candidate requirements

  • Ideally first experience within asset management and/or sales, preferably in private markets
  • Master’s degree in finance and/or economics, equivalent advanced training (CFA, CIIA or CAIA, or progress towards obtaining them) is an advantage
  • Good understanding of investments (including performance and risk analytics), the investment process, and first exposure to institutional investors, as well as an understanding of private markets infrastructure
  • Superior organization skills, with the ability to manage several processes simultaneously and to work towards tight deadlines in a very dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated, curious, dynamic, and passionate character with entrepreneurial mindset and team spirit: you should demonstrate an ability to think “one step ahead”
  • Ambition to deliver outstanding service and high-quality materials to demanding institutional clients
  • Interest and flair to work in a client-facing sales team
  • Strong analytical thinking and conceptual skills combined with eloquent oral and written communication skills in (Swiss) German and English
