The company is an internationally active asset manager based in Germany. It offers a broad range of products, including liquid credit and private markets, for institutional investors.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Sales Manager with the possibility of becoming Head of you will be responsible to initiate, develop and manage client relationships in the context of Private Market investments, mainly for private debt, real estate debt and infrastructure funds. You are highly motivated to identify, understand and empathize with the needs of our client’s sophisticated institutional clientele in order to develop customized solutions in collaboration with or client’s specialists. The preferred candidate will have both, a strong social competence and communication skills as well as (project) management abilities to coordinate the contributions of internal and external experts in order to meet the client expectations. The combination of your thorough academic background, your entrepreneurial spirit and deep understanding of institutional investors are crucial elements for a successful collaboration.

Essential Job Function:
• Expanding and deepening business relationships
• Work alongside with the sales and product team in order to design and implement solutions for private markets investments
• Organize, prepare and postprocess client calls and meetings with existing clients and new prospects
• Identify new potential customers and drive acquisition process

Candidate requirements

5+ years of experience in the asset management industry
Management or direct exposure to Private Markets (Private Equity, Real Estate, Real Assets, Private Debt) asset classes
Commercial sense in acquiring mandates and maintenance of strategic client relationships
Mother tongue German and proficiency in English
University degree, preferably in finance, business administration, economics or natural sciences
Professional designation such as CFA or CAIA is a plus
