As a Senior Business Development Manager you will be responsible to initiate, develop and manage client relationships in the context of Private Markets (PM) investments, mainly for private debt and hedge funds. You are highly motivated to identify, understand and empathize with the needs of our client’s sophisticated institutional clientele in order to develop customized solutions in collaboration with or client’s specialists. The preferred candidate will have both, a strong social competence and communication skills as well as (project) management abilities to coordinate the contributions of internal and external experts in order to meet the client expectations. The combination of your thorough academic background, your entrepreneurial spirit and deep understanding of Swiss institutional investors are crucial elements for a successful collaboration.
Essential Job Function:
8+ years of experience in the asset management and/ or consulting industry
Management or direct exposure to Private Markets (Private Equity, Real Estate, Real Assets, Private Debt) asset classes
Commercial sense in acquiring mandates and maintenance of strategic client relationships
Mothe tongue (Swiss)German and proficiency in English and French is a must (verbal and written)
University degree, preferably in finance, business administration, economics or natural sciences
Professional designation such as CFA or CAIA is a plus
