As part of an integrated banking group, it combines capital market expertise with a comprehensive understanding of institutional requirements.

Responsibilities

As Senior Institutional Sales Corporates, your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage relationships with institutional clients, mainly focussing on corporates. You will be tasked with driving business development and executing customized financial solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the origination, structuring, and execution of tailored financing, investment, and capital markets solutions.

  • Developing and executing a business development strategy, focusing on identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing relationships.

  • Maintaining strong relationships with key clients while identifying opportunities for further business.

  • Presenting market insights, investment strategies, and financial products that address clients’ specific requirements.

  • Representing the firm at client meetings, industry events, and conferences, positioning the firm as a trusted advisor.

  • Collaborating with internal teams across product development, marketing, and client services to deliver best-in-class solutions.

  • Staying informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to adjust strategies and offerings.

  • Reporting regularly to senior management on business performance and progress toward goals.

Candidate requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in institutional sales, with a proven track record of success in building and managing relationships with large institutional clients. Key qualifications include:

  • At least 7 years of experience in institutional sales, corporate client coverage, or a similar role within the financial services industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to originate and close complex financial solutions.

  • Strong understanding of capital markets, financing, and investment products tailored to institutional clients.

  • Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.

  • High level of client empathy, credibility, and the ability to build long-term relationships based on trust.

  • Strong strategic thinking, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach to execution.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at senior levels.
