Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an entrepreneurial, high-performing Head of Fundraising and Investor Relations to lead capital-raising efforts. This is a unique opportunity to join a visionary team at a pivotal stage, with a focus on targeting sophisticated European family offices, wealth managers, and alternative asset allocators. As the firm expands, this role will be instrumental in the development of its investment platform, with the ambition to exploit inefficiencies across the broader market and establish the firm as a leading player in the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Capital Raising:

  • Lead all fundraising activities and drive commitments from family offices, private banks, wealth managers, and funds of funds.
  • Identify and engage new investors, leveraging both a strong existing network and proactive new sourcing.
  • Set and achieve fundraising targets, including securing anchor investors.

 

Strategic Growth Support:

  • Actively participate in the development of new strategies aligned with the fund’s broader vision to capture inefficiencies in the media sector.
  • Engage investors around future product offerings and diversified opportunities.

 

Partnership Management:

  • Manage relationships with placement agents, business introducers, and fundraising partners.
  • Represent the firm at seminars, conferences, and industry events across Europe.

 

Fund Structuring and Compliance:

  • Work closely with fund administrators and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
  • Support LP due diligence processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all required materials.

 

Brand Building:

  • Increase the firm?s visibility within the European private capital and family office community.

 

Investor Relations:

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing LPs and lead communication towards investor base.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all investor communications.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in private markets fundraising or investor relations.

  • Proven success in raising capital (?50M+) for private credit, private equity, or alternative investment funds.

  • Experience may include internal fundraising roles, placement agents, or senior private banking/wealth management roles.

  • Knowledge of fund operations, regulations, and European investor expectations.

  • Strong LP Network: Existing relationships across European family offices, wealth managers, private banks, and fund of funds, particularly in France, Switzerland, Benelux, Germany, and the UK.

  • Languages: Fluent in English; (Swiss) German is a strong advantage. Other European languages (French) are a plus.

  • Personal Qualities: Competitive, highly autonomous, entrepreneurial, and with outstanding interpersonal skills. Comfortable thriving in a small, fast-paced, and highly ambitious environment.

 

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary.
