After his bank apprenticeship Klaus Biermann studied from 1997 to 2001 at the Frankfurt School of Finance (HfB) in Frankfurt. He gained professional experience in customer service, corporate customer business and derivatives and completed several internships abroad. He then moved to Baring Asset Management in the sales area and initially worked in various departments in Frankfurt, London and Paris.
Seit 2003 arbeitet er im Bereich Rekrutierung und Headhunting und baute für zwei Beratungen in Deutschland und anschließend in der Schweiz das Geschäft auf. Im April 2009 entschloss er sich, zusammen mit Jonas Neff ein eigenes Unternehmen zu gründen.
In addition to building up the company, he devoted a lot of time to coaching and completed his senior coach training at the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany.
Jonas Neff studied history and political science at the University of Bern. After studying in Italy, he worked for an executive search company in Bern for two and a half years. Here he gained his first valuable experience in recruiting specialists and executives.
After spending time abroad in Canada and completing his studies, he switched to an international headhunter in Zurich in 2008. Since then he has focused on the areas of asset management, alternatives/private markets and private banking. In 2009 he decided to set up his own company in the field of Executive Search & Talent Selection together with Klaus Biermann.
Simon Steiner studied English, General History and Political Science at the University of Zurich. During his studies, he worked as a project assistant for an international headhunter in Zurich from 2007 and thus came into contact with the executive search business early on.
In May 2009 he joined us, where he was able to contribute a lot to the establishment and development of the company as a team assistant and to acquire further experience, especially in the areas of project handling and private banking. At the beginning of 2011 he started as a research associate in the field of private banking, where he specialized primarily in the field of independent asset managers.
Seit Anfang 2014 ist er als Consultant verantwortlich für Mandate rund um das Thema Investment Management und leitet seit 2016 zudem den Bereich Operations (Legal/Compliance/Risk).
Tabea Eckardt studied economics at the University of Zurich with a focus on business administration. Previously, she worked as a sales assistant for a bank real estate agent in Germany.
She came to BiermannNeff as a research associate during her studies in 2018 and was therefore able to gain experience in executive search at an early stage. Since 2021 she has worked as a consultant, particularly for the development of women in the financial sector and young talent. Her focus is in the areas of sales / marketing / CRM / RfP & sales support.
